Una experiencia cubana de 5 estrellas. Este es un negocio privado, no gubernamental. Verdaderos cubanos tratando de hacerlo suyo. Este podría ser el futuro de Cuba, así que apoye al pueblo cubano. Cerca de la acción de la ciudad vieja. Gran desayuno incluido. Personal amigable. Liber fue de gran ayuda organizando recorridos y lecciones de salsa y recomendaciones sobre dónde ir a cenar. Déjelo hacer un recorrido a pie de 3 horas si es su primera vez. Más caro que la mayoría de los alquileres de casas privadas porque es mucho más una experiencia de B&B. Por ejemplo, limpiar habitaciones todos los días. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Pasé un día y documenté el lugar. Fue grandioso. El Hostal tiene un premio por el diseño arquitectónico. La comida era deliciosa y el personal es el mejor. Ambiente cubano por todas partes. 4 estrellas solo por el tamaño de las habitaciones, aunque fue genial, personalmente me encantan los espacios grandes. Pero eso es sólo una preferencia personal.

Nos encantaron las cuatro noches que pasamos en la Residencia Santa Clara. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el momento en que llegamos y no dudaríamos en recomendarlo a cualquiera que venga a La Habana. Después de que nuestra aerolínea perdiera nuestras maletas, estábamos muy felices de haber reservado un lugar tan acogedor y relajante. El maravilloso personal hizo todo lo posible por nosotros, incluso prestándonos muy generosamente pasta de dientes y crema solar. El hotel está bellamente diseñado, con gran atención al detalle. Las habitaciones son acogedoras y acogedoras, con excelente aire acondicionado, las camas son muy cómodas y las duchas excelentes. El desayuno es abundante y delicioso, y la zona del bar es un gran lugar para pasar el rato. Pero el personal realmente hace de este hotel lo que es. Hicieron todo lo posible durante nuestra estadía y no podemos agradecerles lo suficiente. Hay muchos lugares donde alojarse en La Habana Vieja, pero sería difícil encontrar uno mejor que la Residencia Santa Clara.

Best experience in our 2 weeks stay with a 2 year old in Cuba. The people are so nice, the food is so good and the drinks are so tropical. Everyone was playing with the little one and even the neighbours in the street where so nice with him and with us, everybody wanted to help and watched for the kid while playing outside. Thank you very much for this nice experience and all the love!

The rooms are great, clean and modern.
The stuff is just amazing and helps you with what ever you need.
If you wanna stay in Havana, then this is the place to be.

When our original hotel cancelled on us 5 days before we flew out to Cuba I quickly had to find somewhere else and came across Residencia Santa Clara. What a find. This is a real gem of a hotel right in the heart of Old Havana.

From the moment we arrived Yulia, Sergei and all the staff at the hotel made it a great experience from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is beautifully clean, the rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is delicious.

With Yulia and Sergeis help we got the very best from our eight night stay in Havana. Anything we wanted to know or do they advised us on and helped sort for us. The Capitol building, the ballet, the beach, Vinales national park, and the best places to eat, you name it we did it. We ended up on a few taxi trips with Ernesto a fabulous English speaking guide and driver who made our trip to Cuba so special.

If you want to really experience Havana avoid the big national hotels and try Santa Clara. It's an easy and safe walk to the centre of town and lovely place to stay.

La mejor experiencia en nuestra estancia de 2 semanas con un niño de 2 años en Cuba. La gente es muy agradable, la comida es muy buena y las bebidas son muy tropicales. Todos jugaban con el pequeño e incluso los vecinos de la calle fueron muy amables con él y con nosotros, todos querían ayudar y vigilaban al niño mientras jugaba afuera. ¡Muchas gracias por esta linda experiencia y todo el cariño!

Though I did not stay here, my husband and I ate here twice in one day because the prices were AMAZING and the food was fabulous! I had lobster tail for about $6USD! The coffee was great too.

Real boutique hotel, it's a lovely place and all the people working here are really kind

We really enjoyed a 5 night stay at this fantastic, small, family owned hotel in Old Havana. It's a great location for exploring Old Havana. The staff were all excellent and genuinely could not do enough to help and ensure that you enjoy your stay. There are a couple of terraces upstairs to sit out and enjoy the sun. The hotel has a bar and a small kitchen serving excellent food, it's open to non-residents as well as residents and appeared to be popular during our stay. Breakfast was excellent with great coffee and there was a well stocked bar with plenty of beer, water, wine and the usual array of cocktails available! Our room was 'industrial chic', with fantastic use of recycled materials, the shower in our room (5) was brilliant, large space with great water pressure! The bedroom was very comfortable, large double bed with air con. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel as a base for exploring Old Havana.

This is such a wonderful hotel in a great location! The rooms and terrace are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are so kind, nothing is too much trouble and they will go out of their way to help you. I would recommend this as the number one place to stay in old Havana!

A very nice and central boutique hotel in the heart of Havana. Their staff are very friendly and helpful and you are within walking distance to all the main amenities in the Old Havana! Strongly recommend for your visit to Havana!

We stayed at Residencia Santa Clara in January 2020. We had a wonderful and pleasant experience. The decoration really caught my attention, a great combination of art, keeping the Cuban Soul. The room and facilities were immaculate clean and tidy at all times. It has nice terraces to relax. The 360 degrees viewing platform at the top was amazing, a lovely view of the Old Havana. The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was really well presented and delicious. Thank you very much Alexis, Yuli, Serguei and the rest of the staff. I will come back on my next trip to Cuba, hopefully next year)

Absolutely amazing hotel, especially the staff. It's a new boutique hotel with a great location in Old Havana (really near to a money changer, Old Plaza which has nice restaurants and the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Casablanca for amazing sunset). Room was also very clean.

I would definitely recommend this hotel because it was such a beautiful and authentic experience because the hotel was originally like the surrounding houses (casas) in the neighbourhood. It's small with about 8 rooms and you get to know the other guests staying at the hotel pretty well - just like how the locals mingle with their neighbours every day. The staff were exceptional with their service and because they cater to a small number of guests at a time, service was very personalised as well. Juliet was incredibly helpful and such a lovely lady. Sergei the bartender was also such a great conversationalist who makes great cocktails (I lost count of how many micheladas I've had altogether). The chef/kitchen makes amazing food, we tried about half their menu during our stay and food was just delicious (definitely try their lobster).

Great hotel on the edge of the old town. With very friendly staff and good cocktails. And beautiful rooms.

Beautiful boutique hotel that was restored from a historical building. Location is right in the heart of Old Havana close to Plaza Vieja. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL, staff were so friendly and kind and the room was beautiful. Only suggestion.the bed has springs which you can really feel and can get uncomfortable, a thicker mattress would be nice but otherwise great!

This is a artistic masterpiece in the centre of old Havana. From the moment you arrive in this stunning old building that has been totally refurbished by a local craftsman you feel right at home with the staff as they offer you a welcome cocktail. Art is everywhere here from the communal spaces to the rooms nearly everything has been hand crafted.

ROOMS
I was staying in room no. 1. The superior plus room on the top floor. This super spacious room with balcony is very large for old Havana it’s equipped with air conditioning, seating area & an amazingly hot shower. The designer has truly encapsulated the essence of Havana with modern amenities.

COMMON AREAS
The are a few here so ill start with the bar / breakfast area. This is where most people meet up in the morning for breakfast. It’s a beautifully designed space with art everywhere very inspiring place to have breakfast every morning.
Upstairs you will find two terraces one with a seating area & another with sun loungers then there is the viewing deck right at the top of the hotel.this purpose build deck is the perfect place to have a beer while watching the sun go down.

SERVICES
Breakfast was super nice & included cooked eggs how you like them with meat, fresh juice, espresso coffee, toast & a fruit platter, it was delicious.
The staff are also super helpful with booking taxis, restaurants & just general information.
They also have internet in the mornings & evening which is a big deal here but you can ask anytime to turn on if it’s an emergency.

LOCATION
Located on the southern part of the old town it’s 5-10 mins walk anywhere in the old town. It’s just off the ocean road where the ferry departs to take you across the bay. Location was perfect for me.

New property that exceeded our expectation. Great location, service and food. Two nights here and afterwards we found ourselves visiting again for drinks and snacks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Bonus points for their breakfast and Wifi
